This was taken as we started across the Westminster Bridge. You can see Thames River , London Eye, a cruise boat. Though you can't see it in this pic ...Parliment is over our shoulder. The large building near the LE houses several agencies including City Hall.
We walked right past Parliment as we went to the Eye. You can see the correct time from Big Ben. Gosh ...I think I see a little blue sky!
Bagpipes were played on Westminster Bridge as we went across the Thames(dirty-looking water).
I think the Eye was built recently. Opened in 1999 as part of millenium celebration. (I think of that as recent)
